Christopher Chan is an Associate at Vivien Teu & Co in the corporate, asset management and financial services practice group. Christopher qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor in 2012, with practice and training experience gained at international and well-known local law firms. Christopher’s experience spans corporate and corporate finance transactions, funds and wealth management.
Christopher currently specializes in asset management, financial services and wealth management. He has unique experience in having had the opportunity of advising on several investment funds, financial services, trust and succession matters. Christopher’s specific experience includes:
- tailoring and setting up investment platforms for an Indonesian conglomerate for investments in Hong Kong;
- advising one of Japan’s largest financial service provider in expanding into the PRC;
- involved in private equity fund formation with commitments of over US$200 million;
- presentations on Hong Kong probate law, wills and estate planning.
Prior to joining Vivien Teu & Co, Christopher was with HSBC Trustee for more than two years, with extensive direct and hands-on experience advising on and involved in management and operational matters for private trusts structures, developing wealth management solutions for high net worth individuals, investment fund structures, account opening and KYC requirements of financial institutions.
Christopher graduated with a LLB from the London School of Economics. He speaks native English and fluent Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
在加入张慧雯律师事务所之前，陈律师2013年至2015年间在汇丰受托 (香港) 有限公司从事客户管理部助理副总裁协助管理及运作多名高资产值客户的私人或家族信托。
陈汉杰律师于2007年毕业于伦敦政治经济学院 (London School of Economics and Political Science)法学士(LLB)，2009年取得香港大学法律专业文凭(PCLL)。
