Vision

Advancing a Community of Practice

Towards driving knowledge and capacity in the market, new or innovative approaches for impact and impact-focused legal practice, VTLP Impact Circle is established with a clear vision of bringing together a committed group of lawyers and law firms to lead, shape and support high-impact transactional projects on sustainability and impact across Asia. This reflects our dedication to advance sustainable outcomes through purposeful collaboration and ecosystem-building.

As we amplify visibility and strengthen the strategic focus of law firms in developing impact practices, we create tangible pathways to position the right legal skills, specialists and structures to meet evolving needs and opportunities within sustainability and impact-led matters. While bringing together a group of committed lawyers in collective action, we also engage with a network of like-minded leaders and stakeholders working at the intersection of law, finance, and sustainability, dedicated to long-term impact and legal innovation.

To harness cross-disciplinary conversations and insights from sustainability leaders, our Advisory Council brings extensive global expertise spanning climate finance, investment management and stewardship, governance, public affairs, and sustainability leadership across Fortune 500 enterprises, social enterprises, NGOs, as well as complex supply chains. Their insight helps guide where legal practice can add the most strategic value. By bridging deep expertise and unrivalled market experiences, combining perspectives from law, finance, industry, and civil society, our Advisory Council plays a catalytic role in informing how legal structures, transactional design, and advisory approaches can enable measurable and lasting impact.

Beyond fostering conversations and engagement, whether macro or topic-specific, we seek to identify opportunities and projects where our collective capabilities can make a measurable and impactful difference.
